House Party.com

I am new to this blogging stuff and decided to TRY it out and see what I can learn from doing it. While attempting to create a blog, I have searched and started couponing and saving money. I have shared what I find with my friends, family and sisters in Christ.
As I looked thru tons of blogging sites and people who I began following and reading about their lives I stumbled upon houseparty.com.
At first I was hesitant to register... who was I kidding? Did I really want to apply for a house party at my house? with people over, their kids and the noise.... ?
So after a few minutes of thinking, I realize I have to try this thing out. I am one who LOVES parties, having family gatherings, cooking for others and sharing my home with people whom I love. Then again... who was I kidding? I wouldn't be selected. There are millions of members on this website attempting to have a house party in their homes. These house parties are parties which give you exclusive access to new products to try, keep and share with others. Party packs are mailed to your house for you and your guests with products that you will be trying out while having a fun enjoyable time. They supply the fun and you supply the food without paying for anything. Its a no pressure party, so what did I have to lose. but not me.. I still had doubt
I registered, applied for a few parties they had available and hoped that I get selected. Because of so many members, I wasnt looking forward to being selected but still remained optimistic that I would be chosen.
Yipppeeee.... I get an email saying I had been selected... I was surprised, shocked but also very excited that I was one out of millions selected to have a houseparty in the comfort of my own home. I now began to worry and wonder if my home was good enough to have such party, the clean up and things I had to look forward to doing for my guests.
My party pack arrived... I had been selected to have a Chef Boyardee party. My party pack consisted of a Chef Boyardee Chef hat, an insulated red lunch bag with the Chef Boyardee logo, some note pads, coupons for my guests and recipe cards which is what I had to prepare the meal for the night... using cans of Chef Boyardee.
I arranged the party, using invites straight from houseparty.com and my guest RSVPed and I knew exactly who was coming and who wasnt...
We ate, we enjoyed the food and laughs. The meals were easy and quick to make and were a huge hit with the children ... That was my first house party in a long time and we enjoyed it.
