Oreo Cookie is 100 years old!

The doorbell rang, I wasn't expecting anyone but when I looked thru the peephole to see who it was, it was United Parcel Service or better known as UPS with a delivery for me, so I signed for this box....I GOT A PACKAGE!

I didn't have any idea and thought someone was playing a joke on me until I opened the box... I screamed from excitement...I'm a Grand Prize winner! That's what the note said... I believe it was a prize I had gotten after entering many contests either on Facebook or several blogs I follow since I started saving with coupons. I don't know where I entered but I do believe this was the site. This is my entry where I entered a picture of my tattoo. My tattoo happens to be unique and an original...

It is a bitten Oreo Cookie made by Nabisco on my ankle. The same time we got the tattoo happened to be around the same time as the Oreos 100th birthday. Pretty cool right? I think so.

The Oreo cookie, although I agree with the world because it is also my favorite cookie is delicious but that wasn't the purpose of my tattoo. The tattoo symbolizes friendship. This is a picture of our tattoo... and a picture of us... also known as the Oreo crew and this represents us, our friendship and our love for each other... FOR LIFE!

I was chosen for a mission to try Knorr Homestyle Stock - Chicken & Beef flavors
For more information go to Knorr.com

I was mailed a pack of this Knorr Homestyle Stock for my mission. It was a 4 pack and arrived in little ready to use tubs. Each tub makes 3 1/2 cups of broth.
This great tasting concentrated stock was made with carefully selected ingredients, simmered to perfection — perfect for broth and soups; rice, mashed potatoes and pasta; roast chicken; and sauces and gravies. Find it in the broth aisle!

With this product I made homemade chicken soup and cut up boneless chicken breasts in little strips in a spanish style sauce that your whole family would love.
I am going to tell you how to make this delicious recipe I made using the Knorr Homestyle Stock, I'm sure everyone knows how to make soup. This quick dinner made with chicken breast topped over white rice will have your family including your kids craving for seconds. This meal takes about 20 minutes.

1lb or more of boneless chicken breast
Sofrito (spanish mix of onions, garlic, peppers)
Sazon packets
Adobo
Knorr Homestyle Stock tub - Chicken flavor
1 Teaspoon oil
1 cup water

Cut the chicken breast into pieces of your liking. I cut them small to cook faster. Season with Adobo Seasoning Salt, found in your Goya section in the supermarket.
In pan, put oil, 2 teaspoons of Sofrito, and 1 packet of Sazon (if more than 1 lb chicken use 2 packets). The ingredients will start to sizzle when hot then you toss in the seasoned chicken. After 5 minutes the chicken is simmering and should be boiling. Put the tub of the Knorr Homestyle stock, 1 cup of water and put a top on the pan, this makes a sauce.
Lower the heat, stir in approximately 5 minutes and continue to let simmer for 10 minutes.
Serve it over rice.
Try it and let me know what you think! ENJOY =]

Hamburger Helper is a wonderful way to make an easy, fast meal that your whole family will love by just adding water, milk and ground beef. With loads of varieties that can satisfy any picky eaters habits, I'm sure you will find a flavor everyone would love. Check Here for 40 varieties to choose from.
At my house, we live on Hamburger Helper at least once or twice a week. My 3 sons love Hamburger Helper with the Bacon Cheeseburger flavor as their favorite. Its like having a burger minus the bread in a bowl. The bacon flavored extra cheesy pasta is delicious and the taste of bacon is savored in every bite.
Last week I received the following flavors in the mail courtesy of Pssst.
  • Hamburger Helper Ultimate Beef Stroganoff offers rich roast beef flavor and pasta served in a sour cream flavored sauce.
  • Hamburger Helper Cheesy Italian Beef features pasta and a naturally flavored Italian-style sauce mix made with real Italian herbs.
At first my sons were hesitant on the new flavors because of the pictures on the box. They weren't comfortable seeing that the beef stroganoff was topped with creamy white sauce since they had been used to cheesy (yellow) macaroni but I made it anyway. I haven't made the Cheesy Italian Beef as of yet.

I prepared my ground beef. I added adobo seasoning powder, garlic powder, onion powder and a little bit of sofrito (a spanish blend of peppers, onions, sweet peppers, cilantro and recaito used to season beans, meats, rice and many other things) for taste. I then added the water and the milk along with the noodles in the box and the included package of seasoning. I let it boil and then lowered the flame and put a top on it. I must say the noodles took a little bit longer to cook then the usual macaroni noodles but it was well worth it. The beefy creamy stroganoff has a magnificent taste. I served my sons and patiently awaited their comments as they looked at their bowls but instead and they devoured it without a question, and the bowls were eaten clean. Surprisingly despite the creamy white sauce, they tasted it and loved it. This will be added to our list of things to buy.

Hamburger Helper cost less then $2.00 a box which serves four servings. If you would like to try it click here for a coupon worth $.70 and if  you go to your nearest Shoprite where the coupons less than $1.00 are doubled that will save you $1.40 on one box, its like paying cents for a complete meal.
TRY IT... ITS QUICK EASY MEAL IN MINUTES AND DELICIOUS TOO!

This is solely my opinion and choice. I was not paid to make any comments on this by Pssst or Hamburger Helper.
